Advertising is the biggest financial hurdle when it comes to running this site but, together, we can raise awareness of the project without spending a cent.
Tell People About the Registry!
One of the simplest ways you can help the Registry is by telling people it exists. If you see someone looking for a rooster or trying to find a home for one, send them this way so we can help. The more people who know we exist, the more boys find their flocks.
If you’d like to let people know you support the Registry, feel free to share this graphic on Facebook and Instagram (or anywhere really) as well.

Hang A Poster (or Two!) Around Town
Download one (or both) of these 8.5×11 posters, print them out, and hang them all around your hometown. Ask the local feed stores and your veterinarian’s office if you can put one up. Hang them on community bulletin boards. Display them anywhere chicken people go.
There is a color one and a black and white one provided so you can choose the one that will work best for your printer. If you grab the black and white version, feel free to have the kids color the rooster in before you hang them!

Your donation will go towards operational costs as well as running ads to help more roosters find flocks that have room for them. Please note that you are under absolutely no obligation to donate and the Registry is, and always will be, completely free to use. If you do choose to donate, we suggest you keep the amount small. Just a dollar or two helps a ton!

Buy a Rooster T-Shirt
Show off your love of roosters with a new shirt and give $5 to The Rooster Registry at the same time.
Several different designs have been made and the t-shirts themselves are currently in the testing phase. Once they pass quality control (aka lots of trips through my washer and dryer) they will be available for sale – likely sometime in July 2026.
These shirts will be sold in my shop over on Roots, Roost & Rafter and $5 from the sale of each one will go directly towards supporting The Rooster Registry. You’ll find a couple of the designs that will be available below.
