This is Lucky! Lucky is a 4-year old rooster who has been displaced by the younger generation of roosters in my flock. He is a purebred Black Australorp. He cannot be kept with other roosters at this point because he will probably not do much to defend himself anymore. His best friend is a miniature horse who actively tries and fails to unalive him everyday. But he is a lovely boy and quite used to people. If you can catch him, he’s yours, free for the taking. Due to a recent disability I can no longer catch him but he isn’t difficult to catch. He comes into the barn hallway every night and can easily be cornered there to be caught in the morning if you’re used to catching chickens.
