How To List Your Eligible Bachelor

Have a boy who needs a new home? Here’s a step by step walkthrough to get him listed.

Step 1: Create an account

Go to theroosterregistry.com/my-account. Scroll down to the “Register” section and fill in your first name, last name, username, email address, and password. That’s it. You’re ready to log in right away.

Step 2: Log in

Use the username or email and password you just set to log in at the top of that same page.

Step 3: Fill out the listing form

Once you’re logged in, head to theroosterregistry.com/list-your-feathered-gentleman to find the listing form. Fill in the details about your rooster and submit.

A couple of tips for better luck finding him a home…

List each bachelor on his own. It’s tempting to list a group of boys together in one post, especially if you’re rehoming several at once, but I’ve found that grouped listings almost never find homes. Each boy gets a much better shot when he has his own listing to shine in. You can still create group listings if you’d like, just know that it’s probably not helping your chances of finding homes for everyone if you do.

Good photos matter. A clear, well-lit photo makes a real difference in how many people notice and connect with a listing. Use real photos rather than AI generated or AI edited ones.

Names help! Even if you haven’t named the boy you’re rehoming, calling him something other than “no name” helps a ton. If you want to call him something but you aren’t sure what, go generate a random name for him here and then use it for his listing (if you don’t like the name you get, just hit “regenerate” or refresh the page). People connect more with the bachelors that have names than ones who don’t.
